Psychotherapy with Jelena

Jelena Živanović

Psychologist | Psychotherapist in training

A confidential, collaborative setting for sustained psychological work.

About the work

A space to understand what is happening within you.

Psychotherapy offers a regular and confidential space to explore what feels difficult, confusing, repetitive, or simply important enough to understand more deeply.

My work is informed by my training in OLI Integrative Psychodynamic Psychotherapy — an approach that looks not only at what you are experiencing now, but also at the emotional patterns, relationships, earlier experiences, and ways of coping that may have shaped how you relate to yourself and others.

The work can involve becoming more aware of emotions, needs, inner conflicts, and recurring patterns; developing a greater capacity to stay in contact with difficult experiences; and finding ways of responding that feel more flexible and more your own.

You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis, a clear goal, or a complete explanation of what is wrong. Sometimes therapy begins simply with the sense that something keeps repeating, something feels unresolved, or that you would like to understand yourself more deeply.

Is this for you?

This may be useful if…

  • 01 Repeating patterns in relationships
  • 02Difficulty understanding what you feel or need
  • 03 Continuing to function while feeling increasingly disconnected
  • 04Wanting to understand yourself more deeply
  • 05 Life changes
  • 06Inner conflict

The setting

How sessions work

Sessions take place at a regular agreed time. What you bring can vary from week to week: a current difficulty, a relationship, a feeling, a memory, or something that is not yet easy to name. I listen, ask questions, and pay attention with you to what emerges in the conversation.

The first meeting is an opportunity to discuss what brings you, ask questions, and consider whether the way of working feels appropriate. It does not commit either person to ongoing work.
