Psychotherapy
A dedicated relational space for deeper personal work.
About
My work has taken shape across several fields that, at first, seemed unrelated. Over time, I began to notice the same questions returning — about how people understand themselves, what supports change, and what creates space for reflection.

I studied psychology at the University of Niš, where I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees. I'm currently in my fourth year of integrative psychodynamic psychotherapy training, work as a software developer, and have spent more than ten years hiking, including the last four as a mountain guide.
Psychology taught me to look beyond what is immediately visible — to pay attention to behaviour, emotion, relationships, development, and the many influences that shape how a person experiences the world.
Psychotherapy training brought that understanding closer to lived experience. It taught me to stay with what unfolds between people: emotion, patterns, the body, relationships, and the things that are often difficult to put into words.
Working as a software developer taught me to think in systems: how different parts affect one another, where complexity can be reduced, and how something thoughtfully designed can support people without getting in their way.
More than ten years of hiking, including the last four as a mountain guide, taught me something different: how much context matters. Change the pace, the terrain, or the people around you, and attention changes too. There is often more space to notice, talk, and think.
Why Ascent exists
How can I create better conditions for people to reconnect with themselves?
It shapes the direction of the work — creating more space for reflection, awareness, and for noticing what might otherwise be missed.
What Ascent has become
Ascent brings together several distinct areas of work.
A dedicated relational space for deeper personal work.
An exploration of walking, movement, and structured reflection — creating guided moments to step away from everyday noise and attend to what is happening internally.
A developing project designed to make finding the right therapist more understandable and human, while giving therapists room to present their work and ideas with more depth than a directory profile usually allows.
